· Kaanapali Beach · Kihei
Maui's first master planned resort. 1200 acres of luxury hotels make this a popular destination. Kapalua/West Maui Airport (JHM) 3 miles north of the city. Located in the Maalaea Bay, Kihei is a relaxed hideaway with an array of resorts and activities. Kahului Airport (OGG) 10 miles northeast of the city.
· Kapalua - West Maui Airport · Hana
Includes Kahana, Kapalua and Napili Beach, all located on the west end of the island with beaches and mountain ridges that make this one of the most beautiful parts of the island. This village, located at the eastermost point of the island, offers beautiful natural displays, and has a nice leisurely pace.
· Maalaea Bay · Lahaina
Includes Maalaea Bay, Makena, Kahului and Wailea, all located on the west, surrounding the Maalaea Bay, and a short distance from the Kahului Airport (OGG). Historic buildings abound dating back to the 19th century. Links to Kaanapali resort by complementary trolleys and replicas of trains from the sugar-cane days. Near the Kapalua / West Maui Airport (JHM).
· Maui North Side
Lodging options in and around communities on the North Side of Maui, including Kula, Wailuku, Honokowai, Paia, Haiku and others.

Area Facts: The Island of Maui originated from the flows of the volcano Haleakala that made its appearance in 1 million BC, and is now the world's largest dormant volcano.
